Best Sober Groups – The best online communities and Facebook groups for sobriety & recovery

When I first started on my sobriety journey, from being sober curious to making the outright commitment to removing alcohol from my life, I used a number of resources available to help both research and reach out to for guidance, which I found to be extremely helpful in aiding my recovery. It was this support that made me want to ensure that when I started my quit alcohol programme to help others, that I also had a support community set up and available for both my private members and also the wider community.

If you have decided that 2021 is your year to make a real positive change to your life and remove alcohol completely from it, or you are curious about sobriety, then please read on! I have put together a review of what I feel are the best sober groups which includes online communities and Facebook support groups that you should get yourself involved in right now.

So, without further ado, let’s get into it and explore what’s available for the sober curious and for the anyone on their sobriety journey right now.

It’s a safe space for people to join to post questions about sobriety or just their feelings in general. I love how my members interact with each other with a real positive vibe of support and sharing of information to help everyone. I have learnt so much from my members who have been sober for years to people just starting out on their journey.

Sober Mom Squad: Facebook Support Community

A relatively new group, having started up since the Covid-19 pandemic, I predict big things for the Sober Mom Squad for 2021 and beyond. The group has been put together by leading sober influencers – Emily Lynn Paulson, Jen Elizabeth, Michelle Smith, Celeste Yvonne and Jessica Landon. It’s a support community aimed at moms looking to reduce or remove alcohol from their lives altogether.

Life can be tough for women coping with motherhood and extra stresses such as home-schooling and Covid-19 lockdowns, let alone trying to control or remove alcohol, hence why the Sober Mom Squad support network was born. It’s a safe space for mums to join and share brutal honest feelings with others with no judgement. Whether you’re a mum with a baby through to 16 year old, I highly recommend you checking out their support community to help you this year.

The Facts

Current Members – 1.9k

Activity – 35 posts in the past 24hrs.
